Odisha govt declares holidays for its employees on voting days

Bhubaneswar, April 4 (PTI) The Odisha authorities on Thursday introduced localised public holidays in respective constituencies throughout the four-phased Lok Sabha and meeting polls.
    Elections within the state might be held on Could 13, Could 20, Could 25 and June 1.
    “The federal government of Odisha has been happy to declare vacation for the staff of the state authorities workplaces and magisterial courts (govt) on Could 13 (Monday), Could 20 (Monday), Could 25 (Saturday) and June1 (Saturday) for the workplaces positioned throughout the parliamentary constituencies and meeting segments coming inside these parliamentary constituencies in an effort to allow the staff to train their franchise,” learn the notification.
    In response to the election schedule, voting for 28 meeting segments and 4 MP segments— Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput — might be held on Could 13, whereas Bargarh, Sundergarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal and Aska MP constituencies together with 35 meeting seats coming underneath these LS seats will vote on Could 20.
