Job cuts: Amazon executive’s response on ‘myths’ about robots, AI technology

At a time when there are stories of job cuts as a result of firms’ transition to automation and AI adoption, a prime Amazon government has stated that it’s a “delusion” that robots and different applied sciences take away jobs.
“It’s a delusion that expertise and robots take out jobs,” Stefano La Rovere, director of world robotics, mechatronics, and sustainable packaging at Amazon La Rovere instructed CNBC this week.
La Rovere stated that opposite to the sentiment that the brand new expertise is changing handbook jobs, superior robotics, synthetic intelligence (AI) and different applied sciences are enhancing individuals’s roles.
