An eight-day-old toddler allegedly went lacking from the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) on Thursday.

As per stories, Sushant Barik and his spouse Tikili Rani of Athabatia in Baliapal, had introduced their eight-day-old child boy to Balasore DHH on April 2 as he was affected by Jaundice. Subsequently, the toddler was admitted to the SNCU of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the DHH. 

However the couple allegedly discovered him lacking since 12 pm on Thursday. They launched a frantic seek for the toddler however to no avail. With no possibility left, they lodged a lacking report on the hospital police outpost. Registering a case, the police have launched a probe.
