Odisha Shop Owner Dies After Fight With Customer Over Rs 40: Cops

Bhadrak, Odisha:

A grocery store proprietor in Odisha’s Bhadrak district was killed allegedly after a combat broke out when he requested a buyer to pay Rs 40 extra towards the purchases he made.

The incident came about at Baralpokhari village beneath Bhadrak city police limits on Wednesday.

The shopper purchased some gadgets valued at Rs 180 from Bijay Panda’s store and paid Rs 140.

He acknowledged that he would pay the remaining Rs 40 later, which was not acceptable to Panda who demanded a right away cost.

After a heated altercation, there was a combat between the 2 and Panda fell to the bottom and have become unconscious. The shopper, who was recognized, then fled from the spot, police mentioned.

When villagers took him to a hospital, medical doctors declared him useless.
