The Batten School of Engineering and Expertise has been awarded Bronze-level standing throughout the American Society for Engineering Schooling’s (ASEE) Diversity Recognition Program.

This system acknowledges engineering and engineering know-how schools that reveal important and measurable progress in enhancing variety, inclusion, and diploma attainment outcomes inside their packages.

To be eligible for consideration in this system, schools should develop a variety plan that defines variety and inclusiveness, assesses wants, units priorities and targets, mandates fairness, implicit bias, and inclusion coaching, establishes accountability and makes use of surveys to guage effectiveness.
