In a publish on X, the President of Bulgaria conferred his honest gratitude to the prime minister for the courageous motion of the Navy rescuing the hijacked Bulgarian ship.
“My honest gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for the courageous motion of Navy rescuing the hijacked Bulgarian ship “Ruen” and its crew, together with 7 Bulgarian residents”, the Bulgarian President wrote on X.
This comes a day after the deputy prime minister Mariya Gabriel on Sunday mentioned,”I categorical my gratitude to the Indian navy for the profitable operation to rescue the hijacked vessel Ruen & its crew members, together with 7 BG nationals. Thanks for assist & nice effort. We proceed to work collectively to guard lives of the crew.”
In a heart-warming response, exterior affairs minister Jaishankar replied to her and mentioned, “That’s what mates are for.”
The Indian Navy on Saturday recaptured a ship from Somali pirates off the Indian coast, rescuing the crew and ending a three-month takeover of the Maltese-flagged bulk service MV Ruen, in an operation that lasted for 40 hours.
