BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister of Odisha and BJD president Naveen Patnaik introduced BJD’s first checklist of 9 Lok Sabha candidates and 72 meeting contestants for the simultaneous polls scheduled from Might 13.

Income minister Sudam Marndi, a five-time MLA, has been named BJD candidate from Mayurbhanj. Marndi was elected Mayurbhanj MP in 2004 as a JMM candidate.
