The Iranian army on Saturday seized the cargo ship – MSC Aries – with alleged Israeli hyperlinks close to the Strait of Hormuz. The ship has 17 Indian crew members.

A particular forces unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out the operation to take management of MSC Aries within the Gulf of Hormuz, about 80 km off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.

Hours after the incident, India stated that’s in contact with Iranian authorities to make sure the safety and early launch of 17 Indian nationals.
