Lok Sabha Elections 2024: RJD gets 26 seats, Congress gets 9 in INDIA bloc’s seat-sharing deal in Bihar

The opposition’s INDIA bloc events in Bihar introduced the seat-sharing formulation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections on March 29.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) will contest 26 of the state’s 40 Lok Sabha seats whereas the Congress will subject candidates in 9 seats. The Left events will contest on 5 seats, as per the association finalised.

The Congress gained just one seat whereas the RJD and Left events drew a clean in Bihar in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The NDA alliance, comprising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) 33 seats collectively. The remaining seats had been gained by undivided LJP.

The BJP, JD-U and LJP are contesting the Lok Sabha polls collectively and have additionally finalised a seat-sharing association in Bihar. The BJP will contest 17 seats and the JD-U on 16 seats. The Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 5 seats.

The Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustani Aawam Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Samta Get together (RLSP) will contest one seat every. The Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Get together (Ram Vilas) will contest 5 seats.

The seven-phase Lok Sabha Elections is begining on April 19. The outcomes might be introduced on June 4.
