Conjoined twins Lori and George Schappell, world’s oldest, die at 62


The world’s oldest conjoined twins have died at age 62. Guinness World Records confirmed the deaths in an announcement yesterday.

Lori Schappell and George Schappell, 62, handed away on April 7 on the College of Pennsylvania hospital, in keeping with their obituaries supplied on-line by the Leibensperger Funeral Properties.

Born on Sept. 18, 1961, Lori and George had partially fused skulls. The 2 shared important blood vessels and 30% of their brains, Guinness World Data said.

On Oct 18. 2023, the twins claimed the crown for the world’s oldest twins.
